How often do you get to be a part of saving a child's life?

I got a call yesterday, the kind of call that gives you goosebumps. I'll be thinking about and talking about this call for a long time.

My friend, Natalie called me yesterday and as we were chatting about life and work and kids she said, "I have to tell you what happened! The other day I was cleaning in the kitchen and I mixed up some Melamagic to clean the floor and put it in a spray bottle. My son was playing in the dining room and I was in the kitchen. I stepped out back for 30 seconds to take out the trash, and when I walked back in, he was drinking the cleaning product, and 1/4 of it was gone!" After a call to poison control, they assured her that he would be fine, and he WAS!

She shuddered and said, " I don't even want to think about what would've happened if I had still been using Clorox products to clean with!"

 .

I'm humbled at the thought that by simply sharing information with my friend, Natalie, I had a part in saving her son's life.
